Spooky Game Countdown
Written by Ryan Clouse
In lieu of my normal review routine I’ve decided to give you, my few but faithful readers, a staple of videogame journalism… The list. That’s right, Folks! With Halloween right around the corner I’m bringing you my favorite horror games of all time to help get you in the candy-seeking, costume-wearing spirit. So, without further ado, let’s begin!
10.) Splatterhouse (TG16-1990): The side-scrolling gorefest offered gallons of blood courtesy of the weapon-wielding, mask-wearing boyfriend of a kidnapped girl. Although the game is 18-years-old, it’s still mentioned as a prime example of early horror and a reason to dust off your TurboGrafx-16.

Xbox And Pc Gaming For The Modern World
Written by M S Nath
Gaming has never been more entertaining than the sixth to seventh generation video game console. If PlayStation 3 is for Sony, Xbox is for Microsoft, both penetrating the gaming industry with its state-of-the-art technological advancement in gaming consoles. These two game consoles made it fun and exciting for home video gamers as they provide extensive displays of challenging games. Then there is the Nintendo Game Cube and the PC games. All these devices have made today’s world of gaming convenient and attractive.
Xbox is now popular together with the Play Station 3 of Sony and Nintendo’s Game Cube. What is distinct about it is that it’s the most bulky than its counterparts. However, its size is justified because it is the first console that has a hard disk drive, providing bigger storage facility. The saved games can be compressed in ZIP files and it can also accommodate downloads of its Xbox Live counterpart, which is the seventh generation video game.

PS3 Game Previews and Reviews
Written by Andrew Lawrence The Sony PS3 will be the most powerful game console ever released. The impressive parallel processing architecture and powerful GPU allows for arguably the most ambitious releases on a console ever. Certainly, the graphics and performance the system will deliver will outstrip that of its more prudent competitors, Xbox 360, and Nintendo’s Wii. It should come as no surprise then, that many of the most anticipated titles of 2007 will launch on the PS3, some on multiple platforms, others exclusively. As impressive as the hardware is, it’s really not important in the scheme of things; what really matters is what games you can actually play!
The PS3 is costly enough as it is, and as with anything else you invest in, you wouldn’t want to do it before reading up on it first. What better way to do that, than to check out some PS3 game previews? Generally speaking, the best sources of PS3 previews will come from those websites and magazines that have generally covered PS2 and the original PS from the outset. General gaming sites like Gamespy/IGN, Gamespot, 1up, and GamesIndustry.biz are generally good sources of quick, easy to read news, game previews, and reviews. The quality varies, but what is common to each of these is that they will compare their subject matter to the competition. In this case, exclusive PS3 titles would be compared against games on Xbox 360 and Wii in any PS3 game review. More »Kvm Switches for Your Computers

Written by Brad Martinson There are countless choices in the games that kids can play. However, not all video game systems are suitable for kids. Some are educational, fun and extra entertaining for many kids to enjoy. Because of our new innovative technology and progress, even changes in the way children games have also transformed to a more realistic and virtual game playing with contents unacceptable for many kids to view.
Before, video games were invented for educational and entertainment purposes that kids have enjoyed playing even today. Most likely, parents did not have to worry about what their kids are playing because game content was safe and fairly protected from harmful contents. Like the Atari video game system, offering wholesome games such as Pac-Man or Space Invaders, kids are open to have a fun and be entertained without any explicit content and away from corruption that could influence the children’s behavior. Unfortunately, changes in technology have altered the way video games are today. Games of today are more realistic and are in stilled with adult content that many game manufacturers have included in their games. Therefore, parents are now concerned on the typical game system that they want their kids to have. In fact, many parents are opting to find the best video game system that is best for their kids but away from adult contents and other threatening factors that could influence the kids.

The King of Clubs (ps2)
Written by Jacob Marshal Contrary to what the name suggest, The King of Clubs is not an action game marred with mortal combats and bloodshed. Rather, it’s a light hearted mini golf game with a few alterations and surprises thrown in. The setting is that of an amusement park in the Nevada desert. It features about 95 holes and various themed courses wherein each hole is more intricately designed than even in real life.
The game allows you to play alone or with up to three other gamers. New courses and items to be used are opened once you taste success at one level. The loners have the option of choosing either the career mode or the tournament mode. In the tournament mode you get to compete against the CPU-controlled opponent who is also vying for the medals that you are playing for.

PS2 Swap Magic - Import And Backup PS2 Games Are Just One Swap Magic Away
Written by Steven Fields Playing import games on your Playstation 2 or new Slim PSTwo console was virtually impossible, considering that it required you to install a mod chip into your PS2 machine, something that not everyone is able to do, or is willing to do. A PS2 Mod Chip requires you to solder small wires to some pretty small solder points right on the main board (motherboard) of your PS2 Console. Playing import games was really for the hard core gamer, and the gamers that would be willing to do some internal surgery to their ps2 consoles.
The PS2 Swap Magic changed all of that. With the PS2 Swap Magic there is absolutely no need to solder anything or install any type of chip into your PS2 console. In fact, unlike mod chips for the Playstation 2, with the PS2 Swap Magic you’ll be ready to play your import game in just seconds. By using the PS2 Swap Magic and a PS2 Cover, you’ll instantly be able to play your import and backup Playstation 2 games without any hassles or fuss.
